Where everything lives
The coach app has a deliberately small top nav. When you forget which button does what, this page is the cheat sheet.
Primary nav (bottom on phone, top on laptop)
| Nav button | Page does | Doc |
|---|---|---|
| Today | At-a-glance roster for today + tomorrow. Attendance, coach notes, channel posts. | The Today view |
| Events | Full event list (list / month views). Filter, search, bulk-edit. | Desktop tour |
| Messages | Inbox + sent messages. | Send a team message |
| + New ▾ | Dropdown — create a single event or a repeating series. | Create one event · Create a series |
Admin ▾ (admins only — collapsed dropdown)
Every admin-only surface lives behind this single dropdown. No more hunting six nav items.
| Sub-item | Doc |
|---|---|
| Schedule grid | Schedule grid & coach shifts |
| Families | Creating & inviting families · Importing from CSV |
| Coaches | Inviting coaches |
| Calendars & groups | Calendars & groups (each group row also links to its Telegram channel config) |
| Categories | Eligibility categories |
| Message templates | (admin setup of the quick-message catalog used in Today) |
| Feedback inbox | Coach + family feedback submitted via 💬 widgets and help-site forms. |
Personal corner (top-right on laptop, in the More sheet on mobile)
| Link | Doc |
|---|---|
| My shifts | My shifts |
| My availability | My availability |
| Settings | Subscribe / mute calendars · Enable phone push · Coach-as-parent linking |
| ↪ Family chip | Switching between modes |
Things that aren’t in the nav
A few common destinations are reached inside other pages, not from the top nav:
- Edit an event — tap an event row anywhere (Today, My shifts, Events, Schedule) to open its details page, then tap Edit. Edit a single event
- Send a message about this event — same details page, 📣 Send message button. The event is pre-selected; the audience is not — add at least one include rule (“All families on these groups”) before you can send. Categories don’t narrow it. To reach a subset, add an RSVP rule (“Responded yes”).
- Duplicate an event — same details page, Duplicate → button. Re-uses the location, discipline, groups, notes and the start/end times; only the date is left blank for you to fill in.
- Bulk edit — start from the Events list, multi-select, then Bulk edit. Bulk-edit a range
- Cancel / un-cancel / delete an event — bottom of the Edit page. Cancel / un-cancel / delete
Mobile bottom nav reference
A four-icon sticky bar at the bottom of every phone-sized screen:
- 🌤 Today · 🎿 My shifts · 💬 Messages · ≡ More
Active section gets a cyan bar above its icon. Messages shows a red dot when you have unread. More opens a slide-up sheet with everything not in the primary four — the full All events list included (see Mobile setup).
